Flapped for function, our Brown Twill Regency Fall Front Trousers replicate the way things were centuries ago. This distinctive look first gained popularity during the French Revolution and then hung around until the mid 1800s.
This particular reproduction has been improved with the modern-day convenience of a hidden button fly as well as hidden suspender buttons (on the interior of waist band). An adjustable buckle belt at the back waist offers a custom fit. Unlined.
Made from a light weight 100% cotton twill. Imported. Dry clean only. Available in sizes 28-48. Also offered in several colors.
Our fall front trousers are sized similar to modern trousers. However, these trousers do sit higher on the body than modern trousers. Therefore, if you your belly is larger than your waist, use your belly measurement as your size. Otherwise, use your waist measurement.
Inseam
Our trousers come with a 37 inch inseam. If you need them shorter, you will need to have them tailored locally to your desired fit.

I have been singing in a professional caroling group for over 20 years, and this year I decided to go all out and purchase historically accurate Victorian clothing. I bought an Inverness coat, a fairchild shirt, a red Satin Puff Tie, a green Middlethorp vest and some festive pants. Along with my top hat and and half gloves(cheap wool gloves with the fingers cut off) it is a truly "Dickensonian" masterpiece. I will send a picture.
