At first glance our Faux Ivory Walking Stick with gold tone accents appears to be crafted with the tusk of hippopotamus, walrus or narwhal. Perhaps even elephant. But with his poaching days behind him, the designer of this 36-inch lacquered hardwood walking stick chose a more peaceable component to top this 19th century-inspired cane.
The faux ivory handle with brass accents measures 2.5 inches, brass ferrule and rubber tip measure 1.5 inches, and shaft measures 32 inches. Imported.

I had been looking for a period walking stick / cane for quite a while. I came across this one and decided to take a chance on it. I was not disappointed. a very simple yet elegant design.

This cane is exactly what I was hoping it would be, the real deal. I was a little concerned that it would be propish, but it is not. It's a ver nice classy and elegant cane. I'm looking forward to showing it off as part of my Willy Wonka costume next week.
The clothing is high quality and spot on accurate, and I have recommended Historical Emporium to many friends & family for an upcoming Wild Wild West/ steampunk themed wedding.
Wish the shipping was free, as it was expensive evne for small items. Returns were a bit cumbersome (manual forms rather than online), but were processed quickly.

This is my third order. I ordered 2x but when I looked at the individual page I noticed a different sizing chart. I should have ordered a 4c but normally 2x guys just fine. The order for but a little snug not enough to return. Just be careful when ordering.
