A real winner in reproduction waistcoats, this one features the flat front, higher neckline and notched lapels seen so frequently in the mid 1800s, give or take a couple decades either way. Adding to the bygone charm -- five antiqued brass buttons to fasten the front and four inset pockets to accommodate a pocket watch, a ticket stub or what have you. Cinch self back allows for an adjustable fit and fully lined with a lighterweight fabric. Matched separates also available in several color options.
Constructed from 100% cotton canvas duck. Imported. Machine wash on cold. Available in sizes S through 5X. Tall sizes are available for those who need extra length in the body.
like all your vest the fit is perfect and it looks great its just not as red as I thought it would be its more of a burgundy or dark maroon.

Definitely a Classic
I recently purchased the Classic Canvas Work Vest in crimson color and was immediately impresses by it. It is probably my favorite vest now, which I own many different types of work and dress vests from the 1880's period of clothing. The materials and workmanship are of the highest quality, and the styling is really nice too. I really like the buttons used on this vest, as I am partial to metal buttons. Even though it is classified as a "work" vest, it is as nice as my "dress" vests! I highly recommend this vest if you are looking for a durable, yet "dressy" vest.

Excellent canvas vest in Burgundy. My last one I outgrew was double breasted, but I prefer this single breasted version. All four pockets work and it is the same canvas front to back, so it still looks good without the coat on. Fits true to size and is easy to clean stains from the canvas with cold water. Great for Victorian London, Western, and Halfling uses! Looks great with a watch chain, I love it!

This Vest Will Make You Look Good - Guaranteed
I needed some western themed garb for a promo I was shooting. I ordered this and the Walnut Classic Canvas Duster. Together with a bandana, a hat, and a pocket watch, it transformed my actor into a genuine looking cowboy. Wouldn't have looked nearly as good without this vest! The build quality is amazing - especially the stitching - and it stands up to all-day shooting and multiple machine washes without wrinkling or pilling (did not machine dry - hung to dry). The buttons are great quality and sewn to the material well, so I'm not worried about one popping off. Even better, the buttons on the duster match the ones on this vest for a very finished look. I highly recommend this as a wardrobe item for film, video, or any other venture in which you might need western wear. Very impressed, 5 out of 5!
