For your consideration, a traditional red union suit, patented in mid 1850抯 and became a Victorian wardrobe staple for the next fifty years.
The nickname Long Johns is rumored to stem from the a colorful Victorian bare knuckled prize fighter, John L Sullivan, who wore long underwear in the ring and dominated boxing in the late 1880抯.
Our full length union suit features a button placket front, button rear "fireman抯 flap" (yes, it opens) and thick wrist and ankle cuffs. Button styles may vary.
Available in sizes S - 2X, with some tall sizes available.
Imported, 100% pre-shrunk comfortable stretch poly fabric, and machine washable for years of service.

I purchased a union suit from the Emporium and am very satisfied with my purchase ! I have ordered twice from the Emporium and both times I have been totally satisfied ! Ordered 2 of these - Size M for my smaller bigger brother and an XL for me - the bigger little brother. When I received them I tried mine on right away and found the XL to fit perfectly in the legs, arms, and across the chest. The problem was in the fit between crotch and neck - way too small - gives me a wedgie! Should've got an XLT. Off to charity it goes!
My smaller bigger brother said his fit just fine except maybe a bit long in the legs and sleeves but otherwise it's great.

There is a note on the label that says not to use these as sleep ware, but that's what I use them for primarily. I can see why they discourage it since too much movement might loose some buttons resulting in an unwanted draft. Nice material, good fit and very comfortable.

Overall, nicely made and the elastic works. The sleeves and legs are plenty long. It keeps me warm without getting hot. Unlike the picture mine has left-handed buttons, but I'll manage.

I bought these for my husband as a surprise and he loves them. They are very well made and when washed, don't lose their shape and dont lose colour. They are perfect for when he is out riding his motorcycle in bad weather! I was pleasently surprised at how quickly they wer delivered too! This is a great product that I would recommend to anyone.

The shirt I ordered is perfect except it really reeked with a strange smell. Even after washing I had to spray it with an odor eliminating product. The smell still lingers a bit but tolerable. It came in a sealed plastic bag which may have been part of the problem.
Customer service was terrific when I placed the order, I wish I had noted the ladies name that helped me.

I questioned the size of a coat and Meaghann took the time to actually measure the coat to see if it would fit me. Now THAT is customer service. Then I wanted another coat and it only came in 2XL (I wear a 3XL). She measured that one, too, and it fit me. She should be the employee of the year.

Clothes are great. Just w hat I was looking for. The only issue was you are out of my size for one item but I was told I would be notified when stock came in. So I was happy about t hat. I returned my items today. It would be nice if you would include return labels with orders like other companies. Otherwise no complaints!
