Our authentic style collars feature starchable heavy cotton construction to maintain shape and style through many wearings. Collar front attachment is sized for a snug fit with a collar stud (not included.)
Each collar has a buttonhole at the center back, if you desire to add a button to your shirt for a snugger fit. Measures approximately 2 inches in height.
Recommended for use with one of our shirts which is designed specifically to work with the collars. If your prefer, choose any band-collar shirt with a front stud, and add your own button to the back to secure the collar.
Collars are sized up to fit over like-sized shirts, so order by your own shirt size. Medium collars can be used with smaller shirts. Available in sizes XS - 3X.
Imported, 100% cotton. Hand-wash, or launder on gentle cycle with cold water.
The Actual Size measurement is measured from button hole to button hole on our collars.
NOTE: These collars are supported with interfacing and are designed to be somewhat stiff. Additional starch may be ironed into the cotton collar to increase the stiffness of the fabric. Or use our Reinforced Detachable Cotton Collar instead of starching.
Collars are sized to fit around a like-sized band collar shirt.

Pretty good
I ordered a 15-15.5" collar, but I received a nearly 17" collar. I was very easily able to get it tailored down, but overall, it looks nice and gets me nothing but good compliments. Id recommend that you order a size down if you would like the collar to fit a bit more snug.

Really nice collar. Found that the collarless shirt I had wasn't made for a detachable collar so just added a button and was able to fit this collar to it, no problems. I found the sizing to be generous as an L fitted comfortably when I'd normally need XL.

Buttons are too small
The button holes for this collar are too small. It will cost more to return it and get nothing in return. Not happy with product.

Detatchable Collars
I purchased two detachable collars a Bankers Collar and a High Stand Collar. Both collars fit extremely well and do not slip as well as being comfortable. I will use these collars for some reenactments and they do look authentic.

Collar works fine
I had a band collared tux shirt that I wanted to add this collar to, to change the look. Collar worked fine after I figured out the at the entire collar goes on the outside of the band collar. Just needed to sew a small button to the back of the shirt to hold it in place. You may also need to carefully cut the button holes on the front of the collar to make it big enough to fit a collar stud through depending on the size of your stud, but they come sewn small so there is a little bit of room to make them bigger without cutting through the button hole stitching if you are careful.

Kind of disappointed. We've ordered collars from England that were MUCH more starched/heavier. The price on these should have been a giveaway. They're nice if you're not looking for an EXTREMELY starched collar.
