Gloves were de rigueur for gentlemen throughout the 19th century as it would have been unseemly to have a bare hand touch lady when assisting her from her carriage. Our black gloves are comfortable to wear and match our Victorian Top Hat in black. Please note that these gloves have a snap at the wrist.
100% nylon. One size. This style of glove is available in several colors.
I bought the grey, black and white gloves at the same time. They all look good with Victorian formal wear, and they fit my large hands.

I liked the gloves overall, they helped me finish my Sack Coat wearing gentleman of the "Gilded Age" look. The seams were a little weak but that's a minor problem, I know how to sew.

Ideal fashion/comfort ratio
Somehow these gloves are thin but keep my hands warm AND I look fantastic in them. I usually wear all black and these gloves complete my outfit better than any other gloves can.

Good looking product but the craftsmanship lacked finish. Loose tread and the snap button of cheap quality. When I receive my first pair of glove the snap button fall even before had the chance to wear it. Luckily customer service is great and they change the pair with out delay.

Hard to find with Long Wrist
Needed black formal gloves that fully covered my wrists for a Cosplay outfit I have been working on.
These will work just fine. Quality is good, but not of the level I was expecting for the price.

Neat novelty...
The item arrived very promptly and was a neat novelty, but the moment i removed them from the packaging, there were loose strings and fraying from parts of the gloves. This is my only real complaint about the item, i got them for the novelty to start with so i am not particularly disappointed.

These gloves are and excellent addition to any outfit. However I wish more sizes were available. The gloves fit but only just for a guy with big hands. Perhaps one size bigger would suffice. The snaps on the cuffs are a great addition as well.

Great product!
When I first ordered the gloves I was so afraid they wouldn't fit. My hands are very slim/slender and the gloves only coming in one size and all. But I was quite pleased to find out how well they fit once I recieved them. Definitely worth the price!

gloves arrived 1/2" gap in finger seam. Called customer service and they are sending new pair. Other order from this company of several items was perfect. would not hesitate to buy from them again
Quality was top notch. Great selection of items. Customer service was PERFECT too. I had multiple calls and each time the service and advice was excellent. This is a marvelous organization with a great niche of offerings. Glad I found you.
I did have to return one item (wrong size) and purchase an alternative. Again, customer service was extremely good at helping me select the item and place the order. I asked for expedited delivery and was told it would arrive "the next day". The item was shipped it to me via USPS, but it was instead guaranteed "two days later" according to the tracking site. USPS then actually did not deliver it on time, and delayed delivery until the THIRD day "by 8 PM". This was the day I needed the item however, so I panicked and ran out to purchase a make-shift coat from Goodwill. I spent time sewing it into a "cutaway" style. About an hour before I left for my masquerade ball event, the package arrived. The coat quality again was great, but I had to scramble to pin the sleeves up shorter. No time to sew it up. I found the delivery hassles very stressful, but found this was the problem of USPS much more than Historic Emporium.
I would recommend that Historical Emporium not use the USPS, but rather FedEx or UPS which I feel is more reliable for 1 and 2 day deliveries.
