Gloves were de rigueur for gentlemen throughout the 19th century as it would have been unseemly to have a bare hand touch lady when assisting her from her carriage. Somehow these gloves are thin but keep my hands warm AND I look fantastic in them. I bought them to match my gray scarf and it works quite well.

a side-splitting time!
I'm not sure a pre-tumble in the dryer would have tightened up the stitching as the material is stated as all nylon, but unfortunately about two hours into Dicken's Faire the side seam on the fingers of one of the gloves split in two places. They did not fall apart, as I wore them the rest of the day, but I will need to re-enforce the seams with needle and thread. For the low price charged it is not a bad trade-off for a few minutes work.

Love these gloves
I have purchased these dress gloves in black in the past, but decided to try them in gray, this time. They are beautiful, comfortable, and they keep my hands warm without making driving difficult.

Pockets are not deep enough, they need to be two inches deeper to hide eye glasses, combs, Iphones etc.
Button hole edges are not stitched very well and there are numerous unbound threads.

These are good quality garments, sturdy and stylish enough for everyday wear. I frequently get compliments when I wear these products to work and around town. Items are always delivered within a couple of days. Even made-to-order items are delivered quickly. I live less than 100 miles from their location, but the quick arrival time is a very good indication t hat once an order is received, the items are shipped quickly. I once had occasion to call customer service to ask for buttons for a discontinued product. The person I spoke to was attentive, efficient, and polite.
